A Brief Discussion On The Classification Of Power Fittings
According to the main performance and use of Suspension Clamp, hardware can be roughly divided into the following categories:
1) Suspension hardware, also known as support hardware or suspension wire clamp. This hardware is mainly used to suspend the conductor insulator string (mostly used for straight pole towers) and suspend jumpers on the insulator string.
2) Anchor hardware, also known as fastening hardware or wire-resistant wire clamp. This hardware is mainly used to fasten the terminal of the conductor to fix it on the wire-resistant insulator string, and is also used to fix the terminal of the lightning conductor and anchor the wire. The anchor hardware bears all the tension of the conductor and lightning conductor, and some anchor hardware becomes a conductor
3) Connecting hardware, also known as hanging wire parts. This hardware is used to connect insulators into strings and connect hardware to hardware. It bears mechanical loads.
4) Connecting hardware. This hardware is specially used to connect various bare conductors and lightning conductors. The connection bears the same electrical load as the conductor, and most of the connecting hardware bears all the tension of the conductor or lightning conductor.
5) Protective hardware. This kind of hardware is used to protect wires, insulators, etc., such as equalizing rings for protecting insulators, heavy hammers for preventing insulator strings from being pulled up, anti-vibration hammers for preventing wire vibration, wire protection wires, etc. 6) Contact hardware. This kind of hardware is used to connect hard busbars, soft busbars and outlet terminals of electrical equipment, T-connections of wires and non-load-bearing parallel connections, etc. These connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, it is required that the contact hardware has higher conductivity and contact stability. 7) Fixed hardware, also known as power plant hardware or high-current busbar hardware. This kind of hardware is used to fix and connect various hard busbars or soft busbars with support insulators in distribution equipment. Most fixed hardware is not used as a conductor, but only serves to fix, support and suspend. However, since these hardware are used for large currents, all components should be free of hysteresis loss.
