Correct measurement of Dead End Clamp ground resistance tester:

1. Slowly turn the generator handle and adjust the ground resistance measuring instrument dial adjustment knob at the same time to make the galvanometer pointer point to the center scale line. If the pointer deflects to the left of the center scale line, the dial adjustment knob should be turned to the right.

2. When the galvanometer pointer is close to the center, the generator handle should be turned faster to 120r/min, and the dial adjustment knob should be carefully adjusted. Stop turning the generator handle after the galvanometer pointer turns to the center scale line.

3. If the resistance value displayed on the ground resistance measuring instrument dial is less than 1Ω when adjusting the instrument dial, the magnification should be re-selected and the instrument dial adjustment knob should be re-adjusted to obtain the correct side face result.
