The usage of Energy power meter is as follows, mainly including three steps: preparation, connection, and measurement:

1. Preparation
Read the instructions: Before you start, carefully read the user manual or instructions that come with the power meter to familiarize yourself with the functions and operating guidelines of the device.
Check the power supply: Make sure the power meter itself has a suitable power supply. Some may be battery-powered, while others need to be connected to an AC power source.
2. Connection
Disconnect the power supply: If you are measuring a circuit that is already powered, make sure to safely disconnect the power supply to the circuit.
Select the measurement range: Set the power meter's range according to the voltage and current to be measured. If you are not sure, you can start measuring from the maximum range and then gradually adjust to the appropriate range.
Connect the sensor: Correctly connect the voltage input terminal of the power meter to both ends of the circuit to be measured; if it is a three-phase circuit, it needs to be connected in the corresponding manner. At the same time, connect a current sensor such as a current clamp or shunt to the circuit.
Restore the power supply: After confirming that all connections are correct, re-power the circuit.
3. Measurement
Power on: Turn on the power switch of the power meter and wait for it to complete the self-test procedure.
Reading: Observe the value on the display. Modern digital power meters usually display real-time voltage, current and calculated power values.

Follow the above steps to use the power meter to measure power parameters. During use, please pay attention to safety and avoid dangerous situations such as electric shock.
