Installation Principle Of Power Piercing Wire Clamp
Suspension Clamp is used for branching of insulated cables and branching of low-voltage insulated household wires. There is no need to cut off the main cable during construction, and branches can be made at any position.
The power piercing wire clamp uses a special torque bolt to tighten the glass fiber insulator, so that the upper and lower sets of special alloy contact blades in the insulator fully grip the outer sheath of the pierced conductor, so that the main and auxiliary wires are connected. At the same time, the special silicone rubber sealing gasket is fully surrounded by the pierced conductor due to the extrusion of the insulator, which plays the role of insulation and sealing waterproof. The gripping force of the wire clamp is greater than 1/10 of the wire breaking force; under high current, the temperature rise of the wire clamp is less than the temperature rise of the connecting wire.
The fastening bolts of the piercing wire clamp cannot directly touch the cable. If there is direct contact, isolation measures such as wrapping or capping should be taken to prevent the cable electric force vibration wire clamp bolt from cutting the cable insulation layer.
