Power Fittings Manufacturers Share The Uses Of Power Transmission Line Fittings
The power fittings manufacturer has sorted out the uses of power transmission line fittings for everyone. In short, power transmission line fittings can be divided into: wire clamps, connecting fittings, splicing fittings, protective fittings, and wire pulling fittings according to their main performance and uses.
(1) Wire clamps:
Suspension wire clamps: used to fix the conductor on the suspension insulator string of the straight pole tower, or to hang the overhead ground wire on the overhead ground wire bracket of the straight pole tower.
Strain clamps: used to fix the conductor or overhead ground wire on the tension insulator string to play an anchoring role. There are three types of tension clamps, namely: bolt-type tension clamps; compression-type tension clamps; wedge-type clamps.
Bolt-type tension clamps: use the friction effect generated by the vertical pressure of the U-shaped screw and the wavy wire groove of the clamp to fix the conductor.
Compression-type tension clamps: It is composed of aluminum tubes and steel anchors. The steel anchor is used to connect and anchor the steel core of the steel core aluminum stranded wire, and then put on the aluminum tube body, so that the metal produces plastic deformation by pressure, so that the wire clamp and the wire are combined into a whole. When hydraulic pressure is used, a steel mold of corresponding specifications should be used for compression by a hydraulic press. When explosive pressure is used, the wire clamp and the wire (overhead ground wire) can be pressed into a whole by a single explosive pressure or a double explosive pressure.
Wedge-type wire clamp: used to install steel stranded wire, tighten the overhead ground wire and the guy wire of the guyed tower. It uses the splitting force of the wedge to lock the steel stranded wire in the wire clamp.
(2) Connecting hardware: Connecting hardware is used to connect the insulator string to the tower, the wire clamp to the insulator string, and the overhead ground wire clamp to the tower. Commonly used connecting hardware includes: ball head hanging ring, bowl head hanging plate, U-shaped hanging ring, right angle hanging plate, etc.
(3) Connection fittings: used for connection of conductors, overhead ground wires, and jumpers of tension towers. Standardized connection fittings include: clamp connection fittings, hydraulic connection fittings, bolt connection fittings, and explosive pressure connection fittings.
(4) Protection fittings: anti-vibration hammers, protective wires, and damping wires used to protect conductors and overhead ground wires from vibration; spacers used to suppress sub-span vibrations; shielding rings and equalizing rings used to protect insulator strings from corona.
(5) Wire tie fittings: fittings used to adjust and stabilize the tower wire tie wires include: adjustable UT-type wire clamps; Fuse Switch, and double wire tie plates, etc.
