1.1 The production method and chemical composition of malleable cast iron shall be determined by the supplier, but must meet the blackheart malleable cast iron grade and corresponding mechanical properties specified in GB/T9440.

1.2 When there are special requirements for the chemical composition of malleable cast iron, it shall be indicated in the drawings and processes or agreed upon by the supplier and the buyer in the order agreement.

1.3 The chemical composition of Dead End Clamp malleable cast iron parts is generally not evaluated and is not used as the basis for acceptance.

2.1 Mechanical properties

2.2 The mechanical properties of blackheart malleable cast iron are based on the tensile strength and elongation of the sample as the basis for acceptance.

2.3 The mechanical property test of malleable cast iron shall comply with the provisions of 6.1 of GB/T9440-1988 and be carried out according to the test method of GB/T228.

2.4 When the buyer has requirements for other properties, it shall be agreed upon in the agreement between the supplier and the buyer.
