This is the most basic and important function of the disconnector. Connect or disconnect low-current circuits: Although the disconnector has no arc extinguishing ability and cannot be used to cut off large load currents and short-circuit currents, it can be used to connect or disconnect circuits when the current is very small and the capacity is very low. This function also has certain applications in power systems, such as opening and closing unloaded busbars and equipment directly connected to the busbars for trouble-free operation.
