What Are The Uses Of Electrical Fittings
There are also many types of power fittings. The power fittings manufacturers are summarized to explain their application scope through the classification of power fittings. They are roughly divided into the following categories:
① Fuse Link, which are mainly used in overhead power lines in the construction of power fittings, and in substations built by power bureaus. The general function is to use connecting fittings to string suspension insulators and hang them on poles and towers. Another function is to use connecting fittings to connect the suspension wire clamps for straight-line tower insertion or the tension wire clamps for non-straight-line tower insertion to the insulator string. There are many places where connecting fittings can be used.
② Suspension wire clamps, this type of power fittings is mainly suitable for hanging wire insulator strings on poles and towers, and hanging jumpers on insulator strings.
③ Protective fittings, as the name suggests, are mainly reflected in the protection of other power fittings, reducing the vibration amplitude of overhead power line conductors and lightning arresters, and uniform shielding on lines above 330kv and substation insulator strings. This type of products includes: shock-absorbing hammers, spacer rods, etc.
④ Cable fittings, such as DTL. DT. DL series of copper-aluminum terminal blocks are used for various circular, semicircular,
fan-shaped aluminum wires in distribution devices, power cables and electrical equipment copper end transition connections, this type of product also plays a vital role in power fittings.
⑤ Equipment fittings, also called equipment wire clamps, are mainly used for substation busbar downleads, which are divided into aluminum stranded wires and steel core aluminum stranded wires. Therefore, equipment wire clamps are divided into copper transition equipment wire clamps and aluminum equipment wire clamps in terms of material.
⑥ Continuous fittings, this type of power fittings is used for overhead power line conductors, as well as lightning arrester repair and continuity. According to different installation methods and structures, it is divided into bolt type, pre-twisted wire, and compression type.
⑦ Tension fittings, mainly used to fix conductors and lightning arresters in overhead power lines and substations, and then connected with some tension insulators through matching coupling fittings, or connecting lightning arresters to pole towers. This type of power fittings can be divided into three categories according to the installation method and structural composition: bolt type, compression type, and wedge type. In addition, the compression type is divided into two types: explosion pressure and hydraulic pressure.
⑧ Power station fittings, power station fittings are also called current fittings, which include fittings used to support and fix some soft conduits, multiple conductors and various hard busbars in the electrical equipment of substations and power plants. This type of power fittings is divided into slot type, tubular busbar, soft busbar fixing fittings, and rectangles according to the type of wire used.
